These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CareVerified website and services (careverified.co.uk), operated by CareVerified. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Our Service
CareVerified provides an independent care information and search platform. We present care service listings and inspection information compiled from public records published by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.
Our service is provided for general information purposes. It is not a substitute for professional advice, including medical, legal or financial advice. You should always conduct your own research and, where appropriate, consult with care providers, local authorities and professionals before making decisions about care.
3. No Warranties
While we take reasonable steps to keep the information on our site accurate and up to date, we provide the service "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Care information changes over time and third-party source data may occasionally be incomplete or delayed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CareVerified and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

- Introduce malicious software, automated scraping tools or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the service;
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others;

6. Intellectual Property
The CareVerified name, logo, branding and original site content are owned by CareVerified. Source inspection information is public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
